Restaurants and Bars
With a tantalizing mix of fine dining, relaxed restaurants and delicious drinks, Mandarin Oriental, Munich offers an inspired choice of restaurants and bars.
Matsuhisa Munich
Matsuhisa Munich entered Germany’s culinary world introducing the award-winning cuisine of internationally celebrated chef Nobuyuki (Nobu) Matsuhisa to the Bavarian capital. The restaurant follows the successful format of the chef’s original Matsuhisa Beverly Hills and his eight other exclusive outposts around the world. Offering Nobu Matsuhisa’s renowned New Style Japanese-Peruvian cuisine the menu has an emphasis on seafood, featuring signature dishes such as the legendary Black Cod and Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi with jalapeños, alongside grilled lamb cooked over tealeaves with Peruvian Anticucho sauce, as well as traditionally prepared sushi.
The Terrace
Open during the summer months, The Terrace is one of Munich’s best-kept secrets. Guests can dine al fresco, sip cocktails or take a dip in the heated pool (for in-house guests only). The newly redesigned terrace features a lounge area with a bar. With Oriental statues and large potted plants, the blue and turquoise design mixes chic Asian touches with a Mediterranean look and feel.
Guests will be able to enjoy a menu featuring a mix of Asian, Latin American and Mediterranean delicacies, whilst taking in the stunning view, showing everything from the twin domes of the Munich Cathedral to the undulating Alpine horizon.
The Lounge
Adjacent to the lobby area, The Lounge is the ideal retreat and meeting place for our hotel guests. Serving a selection of coffees, Afternoon Tea and cake specialities, The Lounge also offers a choice of international snacks at lunch and during the evening. Guests are invited to experience our exceptional Afternoon Tea, served every Friday through Sunday from 3 to 6pm.
