Excelsior Hotel Ernst

Established in 1863 the Excelsior Hotel Ernst unites tradition and innovation in an extraordinary symbiosis. As the only member of the Leading Hotels of the World in Cologne, the hotel with its 137 rooms provides the highest service standard. The exposed position, in the heart of the city and vis-à-vis to the Cologne Cathedral, makes it easily accessible from all directions.

The hotel has two restaurants, the taku and the Hanse Stube. The name of the restaurant taku comes from Japanese and means House of hospitality. It is awarded with one Michelin star and serves innovative Asian fusion cuisine. At the gourmet Restaurant Hanse Stube, the team creates innovative French cuisine with local influences.
